Almaty College of construction and Handicrafts was opened on the basis of trust “Globalmaster” in September 1956 as an engineering school # 23, 1962 — GPTU No. 46, 1984 – SPTU No. 14, may 2005 — Professional school №7, July 2008 — Professional Lyceum №7 and from February 2013 was renamed to SOE “Almaty College of construction and crafts”. Over the years, Aksinp has trained more than 40,000 qualified construction workers. Among the College graduates there are many famous athletes and artists, musicians and vocalists, innovators and innovators of production. 2 of them are Heroes of Socialist labor, 37 are “Honored builders of Kazakhstan”. College graduates are managers of construction organizations, educational institutions, various firms and associations. Among our staff PhDs and honoured builders of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 2 — excellent education and 7 — students of vocational education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 2 — awarded the order “Labour red banner” and a sign after I. Altynsarin, 10 — medal “Veteran of Labour”.
The educational institution has a strong material and technical base. Classrooms and workshops are equipped and equipped with technical training tools, educational and methodological documentation, visual AIDS, electronic textbooks and literature.
Our College trains qualified personnel for construction enterprises, for automobile transport service stations, for woodworking enterprises and workshops for making musical instruments in Almaty and the Republic.
Aksinp is not only theoretical and industrial training, industrial practice, but also rich educational work: in sports sections, in Amateur and technical creativity circles, in the poetry club. This is a variety of events: sports competitions, concerts, talk shows, and meetings. The cultural life of the College is rich and diverse.
All this contributes to the fact that graduates of our College become worthy citizens of our independent state.
Today, the College has an orchestra of folk instruments “Konilashar”, an ensemble of Kazakh folk instruments “ASYL Mura”, and a vocal Studio. Serious attention is paid to the promotion and development of physical culture. In September 2016, Astana hosted the national championship of professional skills “WorldSkills” among College students. Tastan Aigerim took the first place in the competence: painting and decorative works. At the WorldSkills Almaty 2017 championship, 3rd year student N. Grishaev he took silver in the championship on competence: painting and decorative works, and Idiris A. took gold in the championship on competence: carpentry, and Idiris A.-represented Kazakhstan in the WorldSkills Russia — 2017 championship, which was held in Krasnodar. As a result, he took the third prize and the bronze medals of the championship. WorldSkills is an international non-profit movement that aims to increase the prestige of working professions and develop skills. On the eve of the 60th anniversary of the College, the current workshop of musical instruments was named after its founders Bolat Sarybayev and Orazgazy Beysenuly. The anniversary magazine ” Bilim. Tanym. Tarbie”, where teachers and masters of production training have published their articles.
